Before the economic boom of China has begun, people won’t prefer to purchase goods made in China as they were known to be in low quality and they were mostly copycats or faked ones (of the branded products). People would rather chose other products from other countries like Japan, the United States, Germany, and etc. which they are always known to have the good quality standards even they are expensive ones. As the economic situation in China is booming and China has opened its barriers for trading, many companies from other countries had opted to have their manufacturing plants built in China to lower their operation costs since the country has a vast source of natural resources other than having lower labor cost. Furthermore, the distribution of the products will be much easier as China has trade agreements with other Asian countries and has many access points to different locations. Since China is now open for trades, Chinese manufacturing companies have to also level the quality standards so as to compete in the international market. With the products made in China, one can assure of an improved quality and cheaper costs.
