mj.jpgBasketball is a game of heights where it is usually dominated by taller players.  However, speed and agility are the main physical attributes that a player should possess in order to excel in the sport matching with good shooting skills. There are many all around basketball players that emerge in the National Basketball Association today like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson and many more that have the qualities mentioned. However, no one could match the (player who wore the number twenty three jersey) achievements done by Michael Jordan where he led his team Chicago Bulls to six (6) NBA Championships and was a member of the USA Basketball Team to win the gold in 1984 and 1992 Summer Olympics. During his reign, he achieved the following records; he recieved the most number of NBA Finals MVP awards (6 times), obtained the highest career scoring average (30.12 points), the highest career scoring average during the playoffs (33.45 points), the most consecutive games scoring in double figures (866 points), and the highest single series scoring average NBA Finals (41.0 points, in 1993). Michael Jordan was famous with his trademark when making baskets of having the ability to stay in the air for a while (with an exposed tongue), defying the laws of gravity while eluding his opponents. With his accomplishments, his legacy lives on and he is considered to be the greatest basketball player of all time.
