It is really extremely difficult not to speculate how long Tiger Woods can keep winning given his long history of golf with winning streaks almost every successive tournaments in a year. He holds a record of 63 career tour victories and 15 titles in the world of golf championships. That’s incredible!

However, the recent turn of events gave us a different view. Nowadays, Asia has evolved as a superpower in the women’s game of golf. Everyone knows so well about Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa being the top 2 ranked women golfers in the world. Yet, it is actually the Asians who dominate the world of golf and that it shows no signs of slowing. Asia has produced the top 20 women golfers in the world and half of the top 50 are from South Korea (45 golfers led by Hall of Famer, Se Ri Pak), Japan (Ueda), and China (Feng Shan Shan and Zhang Na).

This sporting news sounds really very interesting. India , Malaysia , Thailand , Taiwan , and the Philippines also take pride in producing top women golfers on the planet. Two well-known Asians also plying their trade on the US Tour include Jennifer Rosales and Dorothy Delasin, who teamed up together to help the Philippines win the Women’s World Cup in January ’08.
